Dear Allotment holders,
It has come round to the time of year when the rents are due for another year.
This year has been a very costly year for Temple Normanton Parish Council for the maintenance of the allotment area. Over the previous years the Council has covered the loss but this years expenses was beyond them.
The perimeter fence, hedges cut-back, grass strimming, etc.
Therefore the Parish Council took the difficult decision to increase the annual rent to the tenants who reside outside the Parish boundary by £5 per year.
This is to make the rents fairer to our local resident tenants.
The local residents contribute to the Parish Council through their council tax.
The annual rent collection will take place in the car park at the allotments.
Saturday 25th September 2021 between 2:00 and 4:00pm
All rents for local residents will maintain £30.00 per full plot. (£15.00 half plot)
Tenants that live outside Temple Normanton Parish boundary
Full plot - £35.00
Half plot - £17.50
I would appreciate any advise of your intention to terminate your plot come 30th September 2021
Finally to all of you I do hope you enjoyed your year had a good crop and will be pleased to see you continue in 2021/22
Thank you on behalf of Temple Normanton Parish Council
